Rahul Pokharkar is a producer, writer-director and VFX supervisor whose work bridges original Indian storytelling with international cinematic scale. Working between Vancouver and Pune, he brings more than two decades of experience in visual effects, filmmaking, creative development and production leadership to every project he builds.

His career spans VFX supervision, camera supervision, previs, layout and CG production at leading global studios including ILM, DNEG, Scanline, Method and FuseFX. His credits include Dune, Top Gun: Maverick, Transformers, Wonder Woman and Ready Player One—experience that has shaped his instinct for ambitious worlds, visual storytelling and execution at the highest level.

Through Tossing Tales Motion Pictures, Rahul develops original, high-concept films and series rooted in Indian culture but designed to travel—bringing story, scale and execution together under one creative vision.
