THE STORY
Parvati has spent years being told where a woman belongs. But when her family’s land, livelihood and self-respect are threatened, she refuses to surrender quietly. Her answer is the one arena no one expects her to enter: Maharashtra’s explosive bullock-cart racing world. Against ridicule, resistance and an establishment determined to keep her out, Parvati trains herself and her bulls for a race that becomes much bigger than a trophy. Every turn of the wheels carries her closer to reclaiming her land, her identity and her place in a world that has already decided she cannot win. NANDI is a rooted sports-action drama about dignity, defiance and a woman who refuses to stay behind the starting line.
