THE LOGLINE
Stranded in a Christmas blizzard in the Canadian Rockies, a fearful single mother must protect two teenage girls and their wounded dog from a massive grizzly — until she discovers the bear is not hunting them. She is another mother desperately trying to reach her trapped cub.
THE STORY
Meera has spent her life worrying about everything that could go wrong. Then, on a Christmas road trip through the wilderness of Alberta with her teenage daughter Kirat, Kirat’s friend Emily and their Cane Corso Sultan, everything does. A blizzard cuts them off. Their vehicle is destroyed. And somewhere beyond the snow is The Boss — a massive grizzly that refuses to leave them alone. What follows is a survival battle across frozen roads, forests and isolated shelters as an ordinary mother is forced to become the protector she never believed she could be. Then Emily discovers a trapped bear cub. Suddenly the entire story turns. The monster chasing them is not a monster at all. She is a mother too.
