After investigative journalist Ila is murdered and her body burned for exposing a powerful politician, her consciousness begins returning through milk, metal, newspapers and ash — leaving clues that lead her daughter Avani toward the evidence her killers thought they had destroyed.
THE STORY
Investigative journalist Ila uncovers evidence powerful politician Ratan Bhushan cannot afford to let surface. So he has her murdered. Her body is burned. The evidence disappears. The case should end there. It does not. Ila begins returning — not as a conventional ghost, but through matter itself. Spilled milk rises and takes her form. Scrap metal assembles into a human figure. Newspapers tear themselves free and become her body. Ash gathers, moves and remembers. Her daughter Avani initially believes grief is playing tricks on her. But every impossible manifestation leaves behind another fragment of Ila’s unfinished investigation. Inspired by Bhagavad Gita 2.22, VASANSI transforms an ancient idea — that the body is merely a garment for the soul — into a contemporary metaphysical revenge thriller driven by spectacular transformation sequences and cinematic VFX.
