WAAT
AS THOUSANDS WALK TOWARD GOD, HARI WALKS TOWARD HIS MOTHER.

THE LOGLINE
When nine-year-old Hari is separated from his mother during the Pandharpur Wari, a photographer named Ved takes responsibility for the frightened boy and carries him through the constantly moving pilgrimage — searching for a mother who is unknowingly walking toward Pandharpur without him.
THE STORY
Every Warkari walks toward Pandharpur in search of Mauli — the divine mother. But nine-year-old Hari is walking for a different Mauli. After he is separated from his mother during the Wari, photographer Ved finds him and joins his search through the constantly moving sea of pilgrims, flags, bhajans, rain and dust. As thousands walk toward God, Hari walks toward his mother. What begins as a search through one of the world’s largest pilgrimages becomes a deeply human journey about faith, kindness and the idea that sometimes, the path to God begins with finding your way back home.
